- 1. Lender / ISO commissionWhen a deal we help place actually funds, the lender (or the ISO relationship behind it) pays Orion Capital Funding LLC a placement commission. This is standard practice in commercial lending and brokering — it is paid by the lender, not added on top of what you owe beyond the loan's own stated terms.
- 2. Client success feeIn many cases, we also charge a success fee — typically in the 5–10% range of the funded amount — charged only if and when your deal funds. The exact percentage for your specific deal, if any, is always disclosed to you in writing before you sign anything.
What we never do: charge a fee just to apply, just to qualify, or just to be matched with lenders; or ask for payment before you've seen and understood the terms of a specific offer.
Questions
Does the success fee come out of the money I receive?
No — it's disclosed as its own line item in writing before you sign anything, so you know exactly what you're agreeing to before you commit to a deal.
Do I pay anything if my business doesn't get funded?
No. There is no cost to use the qualifier, submit an application, or be matched with lenders. We are only paid when a deal actually funds.
Why charge a success fee at all if the lender already pays a commission?
The success fee reflects the work of finding the right fit across our lender network, structuring the request, and managing the process end to end — it keeps our incentive aligned with you actually getting funded, not just submitted to a lender.
